MW Ladies Who Lit on Silver Goodbye

*Review

This was an absolute blast to read. Fast-paced, lots of exciting action, Hurricane Irma, and a treasure hunt. What more could you want for an end-of-summer read?

Technically, this is book 7 in the Buck Reilly series. This being my introduction to author Cunningham and this series, I read it as a stand-alone and had no problems with it. I didn’t feel like I had missed anything that made this story incomprehensible. So if you’re like me and new to this series, don’t hesitate to jump right in.

I thought the characters were a lot of fun – very enigmatic, very unique and loud personalities, and it worked perfectly with the “loud” setting and storyline. I didn’t completely believe that everything that happened in this story would’ve actually been possible during a hurricane with sustained 150 mph winds, but that was part of the fun of reading it – getting lost in this chaos of the storm and the chase.

Honestly, this isn’t a genre I read often. I was a bit hesitant to jump into it, but after being told my several people, that it was a really quick, really exciting read, I took the leap. And they were absolutely right. I finished in two sittings, and couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.

If this is your genre, or if this sounds like an appealing synopsis, add it to your list. It’s a fantastic escape! ~Amber
